SCRIPT

Hello my name is Jessica Zimmerman and I would like to present to you the idea of a new form of education.
The cosmic prospective, in other words.  The goal of this project is to introduce astronomy into the curriculum of the 6th grade public school system.  This curriculum will incorporate earth sciences, information about our planetary system, our home galaxy, and stretch to the far reaches of our universe.  This new curriculum will expand the students horizons and intrigue them in the learning process.  This curriculum will be pact with hands on activities and videos, field trips and guest speakers to keep the students interest and aid in the learning process because of their age.  This curriculum will spark their interest in the entire learning process and open the minds to other, diverse careers that they may not have been exposed to.
